Why the Padres' bullpen is their most pressing area of need

Jeremiah Estrada arrived at a ballpark thinking he would have the night off after pitching the previous two days. However, due to the unavailability of the closer, he stepped in to pitch. Estrada recorded the first blown save of his career and became just the third pitcher in MLB history to strike out three batters in an inning for three consecutive days. Despite their recent success, the Padres need more help for their rotation and bullpen. The team’s most pressing need remains more support for the bullpen.
